How long do Injectable Dermal Fillers Last?
The effects may last up to 2 years. Results vary depending on factors such as age, skin type, and area of the face treated, lifestyle, product and treatment plan. Most patients choose to have a follow up treatment 6-12 months after the initial treatment. The goal of the treatment plan is to create beautiful natural looking results.
What Can I Expect from the Treatment?
Tiny amounts of a clear gel are injected into the skin with a very fine needle. The gel returns more volume to the skin and subcutaneous structures and smooths the surface of the area. No pre-testing is required and the treatment often takes less than thirty minutes. Following treatment some swelling, redness and possible bruising at the injection site may occur. This should resolve on its own in 1-4 days post treatment.
